Seen some crazy fitball workout at the gym today doing some pretty impressive standing/squatting exercises on the ball, entertaining stuff, but should it be left for the circus or in the gym?Seem’s right now the buzzwords in fitness are all ‘core’ and ‘functional’ exercises with some real confusion as to what functional actually means.
Leave this stuff to the athletes, unless you have something very specific you want to gain out of doing these exercises then your pretty much wasting your time, concentrating on building you core with traditional exercises which will effect your daily life in a much greater way than most of these tricks will, unless of course your planning to run away to the circus…
